June 6, 2005Each year in Arcadia Park, we have a potluck and "white elephant" yard sale where each member donates an item for sale. The proceeds of the sale provide the organization with some funding throughout the year. |

Nest to each item is a sheet of paper where a person can "bid" on an item. The silent auction ends after everyone is done eating. If an item does not sell, then the person that brought the item takes it back home. |

HAPPY 75th BIRTHDAY KERMITThis year was Kermit's 75th birthday. We had a cake and all sang Happy Birthday for Kermit. |

Pictured here is Maria and Kermit. Kermit presently is the deputy
tower lead for Vetter Mountain and he spends many hours there painting, pulling
staples from last year's Vetter Wrap, and doing many dirty work chores.
Kermit also slow roasts our our beef during the Year End Party and
is known to contribute his talents for our annual talent show.
